So I was feeling down the other day ... and to help pacify my low mood I took a trip to the new Bed Bath and Beyond. It moved into town a few months ago ... and I've steered clear since it opened. Alaskans attack new stores like they were a sell out concert. But it's been a while and I needed something NEW to pick me up! I believe I adopted this trait from my mother, who often satisfied her frustrations with a new bedroom theme. By the time I got back home (almost $200 later) I had redecorated my bedroom, added some cute baskets to my bathroom and occupied most of my Sunday hours doing some great quality shopping time with my ever so trend conscious roommate. Week later ... the new, (and ever so perfect) clock for our living room is still seating on the floor near the fireplace and my cushy decor pillow set is now in a row on the right side of my bed serving dual purposes. Snuggling in my lonely queen size bed at night and a luxury comfort set for my ever so fluffy kitties. Yay for kitty hair. Being a sucker for the family pets is also a family hand me down trait ... Maybe this weekend I'll throw another in and get my hairstyle updated.
